Department of Physiology
INTRODUCTION
Physiology department has highly experienced, skilled and qualified faculty and laboratory staff focused on delivering quality education and skills. Department has well ventilated and spacious laboratory which has latest required equipment (e.g. power lab) and other teaching aids. Students can perform different skills / practical necessary to understand the mechanisms of different body function as well as acquire skills for examination of patients in this laboratory, under the guidance / supervision of trained staff.
Department also conduct physiology teachings by presenting / discussing clinical cases / problem in small groups of students, to help guide / prepare students for applied / clinical physiology prior to their clinical postings in the hospital wards.
Student also participate in small group discussion, every week, related to their lectures and other academics problems. They are also given assignments to prepare them for term, and annual exams as well as to encourage them to get involved in research.
