INTRODUCTION
The Department of Plastic Surgery at Liaquat National Hospital is the largest Plastic Surgery Unit in the country. There are four fully UK trained, accredited and qualified plastic surgeons with full time commitment.
The department offers complete spectrum of Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive surgery with three consultants having fellowship in Hand surgery from UK , quite at par with any hospital in the world.
Multidisciplinary approach to complicated problems builds professional bridges in between departments like Orthopedics, Eye, ENT, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery and medicine. Constant polishing of skills by attending international workshops and conferences highly elevates the profile.
The surgeons are members of all major National and international Plastic Surgery associations. Department is recognized by CPSP for training residents and so far six residents have completed training and three have acquired FCPS.
The Department also holds high academic and teaching standards from teaching of the undergraduates to well structured departmental training and assessment programs. Many National and International papers have been published and presented.
The department of plastic surgery is proud for its friendliness, utmost professionalism and constant upward progression.
