College of Nursing has well equipped state of Art building and well prepared faculty.

Class Rooms

Class rooms are well ventilated as well as equipped with audio visual aids.

Library

Liaquat National Hospital has its main library, which contains thousands of books and journals regarding all disciplines of medical sciences. Beside this, college of nursing has its own library containing all courses, reference books and journals for all nursing subjects.

Laboratories

There is a separate skills lab with demonstration room for anatomy and physiology, fundamental of nursing and health assessment. Moreover, there is separate microbiology lab and biochemistry lab for health science subjects.

Clinical Based Facilities

For the clinical practice, students mostly utilize facilities of Liaquat National Hospital. The hospital provides the student an exposure to a number of clinical disciplines related to all areas of medical and surgical, pediatric, gynecology and obstetrics, and mental health nursing, as well as leadership and management skills. For Community Health Nursing clinical, students visit to different community centers and schools.

Information Technology (IT) Facilities

A well equipped computer lab consists of Ten Pentium IV PCs with LAN and internet facilities. Well trained staff and highly qualified staff are available as a support system for IT related issues and challenges in the campus.

Besides that a well equipped training area consists of eight latest PCs along with IT experts, conducts several training sessions time to time on the software for staff and students of different disciplines.

Students also have an access of digital library which is authorized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan at Liaquat National Hospital.

Playground

A large playground is available for multiple sports activities along with properly marked jogging track. Students are encouraged to participate in inter departmental tournaments.

Prayer Areas

The beautiful mosque is situated in the Hospital. Prayer timings are displayed in the mosque.

Accommodation

College authorities are not bound to provide hostel accommodation to every one. However, accommodation will be provided to females only, subject to availability against payment. Interested candidates may contact warden girls’ hostel. Strict rules and regulations have to be observed regarding timing of meals, visitors, leave/weak-end, off from premises etc.
