Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing check-up of patients including medical history to assess their health condition identify clinical issues, and discuss with attending consultant or supervisor and document this for patients file.
- Assist Consultant assigned to in his/her OPDs for general ongoing patient care and keep consultant informed of patient’s health condition and any changes. Enquire into patient’s illness based on scientific knowledge and patient’s medical history.
- Give referral calls to other departments as advised by his / her senior.
- Needs to be polite and courteous to patients under all circumstances.
- When clinical situation demands, would immediately seek help from the Consultants.
- Should participate in Clinical audit and attend departmental meetings.
- Take Consultant advice before referring to other specialty
- For all the administrative & clinical problems will seek help from Consultants.
- Any other task as assigned by the HOD from time to time.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, environment and safety management system requirements
- Ensure ethical and professional standards while performing duties
- Demonstrate respect and courtesy towards peers
- Ensure discipline and adherence to LNH Policies
- You will have a responsibility to take reasonable care of your own health and safety and the health and safety of other people who might be affected by the things that you do (your acts) and the things you fail to do (your omissions).
- You will also have a responsibility to co-operate with the organization for health and safety reason while at work.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MBBS + House Job.
- Should have knowledge for basic medical concepts for patient care in relation to illnesses & symptoms, clinical procedures & practices, taking medical history of patient and documentation of the same.
- Should be able to communicate well in English & Urdu (written & verbal).
- Should be proficient at use of Microsoft Office.
