By using Liaquat National Hospital’s Mobile APP (LNH – Care), you hereby agree to our Privacy Policy and accept its conditions.
At Liaquat National Hospital, we are committed to keep information of our visitors, private and confidential. The variety of information we gather, record, and utilize are detailed in our privacy policy statement.
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for our mobile application (LNH – Care) users with regards to the information that they share and/or collected by Liaquat National Hospital.
Information we collect
When you contact us directly, we may ask for additional information including but not limited to:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- The contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. We collect only necessary information, in order to complete your request.
- Sign up
- Booking of an appointment
- Booking of Daycare Surgery
Data Collection and Use of Personal Data
When you use our APP, information is collected by us. We do not sell, lease or share your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are obliged by law to do so. We may occasionally employ reputable third-party vendors to help us provide you information about our services. We would like to contact you for surveys or send you WhatsApp messages, SMS or email marketing communication which may be of interest to you from time to time.
Personal Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, enhance the security and functionality of our systems and services, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and medical record retention requirements.
Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data at any time. Such requests may be submitted through the Account Delete function available within the LNH – Care mobile application, or by contacting us at info@lnh.edu.pk.
Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize the relevant personal data from our active systems within thirty (30) days, unless retention of certain information is required or permitted under applicable laws or for legitimate purposes, including but not limited to legal compliance, regulatory obligations, medical record retention, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
Following deletion of a user’s account and associated data, access to historical data through the LNH – Care App will no longer be available. If a user signs up/registers again, the account will be treated as a new account, and previously stored data may not be recoverable.
However, certain data may be retained in backup or archival systems for a limited period, after which it will be securely deleted in accordance with our data retention and information security practices.
Security
Your data is important to us and we strive to take security measures that are in our control to protect it and prevent it from misuse and alteration or amendment in the information. Information is stored on servers that we believe are reasonably secure. Only authorized employees are allowed to access your personal information. There are internal mechanisms of accountabilities regarding breach of your data collected from our website.
Updates and Changes to Privacy Policy
Liaquat National Hospital reserves the right to change, update, modify or add to this privacy policy at any time simply by posting such change, update or modification on the App Store and Play Store. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.
