Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the allocation of the Operation Theatres (OT) in accordance with the approved theatre allocation schedule.
• Monitor, supervise, and train OT Technicians and CSSD Technicians in coordination with surgical specialties.
• Ensure that all equipment is functional and ready before allocating the OT to end-users.
• Plan and maintain adequate staffing in the OT to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain records of procedures performed, theatre time utilization, and end-user feedback after each list.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation requirements related to OT services.
• Ensure readiness of the OTs for emergency procedures and manage critical situations effectively.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and proper disposal of biomedical waste and sharps in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Preferably MBBS/BDS/ or equivalent qualification with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience, including 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role.       
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
