Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, identify and respond to infection risks across clinical areas.
• Lead and support infection prevention and control initiatives.
• Conduct surveillance, identify trends and support outbreak investigations.
• Monitor compliance with IPC practices and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on corrective actions.
• Educate and coach healthcare staff on evidence-based IPC practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BScN / Post RN BScN; BS Microbiology, Epidemiology, Public Health, or another relevant Health Sciences qualification.
• 1-2 years relevant IPC experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Healthcare-associated infections, infectious diseases, surveillance and infection control principles.
• Diploma or Certificate in Infection Prevention & Control.
• Valid PNC registration is mandatory.
