Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage enterprise LAN and WLAN environments, ensuring uptime, optimal performance, and secure operations.
- Provide advanced L2/L3 technical support, including root cause analysis and resolution of complex network issues.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network architectures aligned with organizational requirements.
- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Cisco and Huawei switches (L2/L3), Fortinet firewall, HP Aruba Wireless Controllers, and enterprise routers.
- Manage switching and routing configurations including VLANs, STP, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, static and dynamic routing protocols.
- Perform detailed requirement gathering, prepare network designs, and lead implementation of structured cabling projects (Copper & Optical Fiber) with end-to-end verification and documentation.
- Conduct technical site surveys for new and renovated facilities to assess infrastructure readiness and provide strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors for structured cabling, optical fiber deployment, and network expansion projects, ensuring compliance with standards and timelines.
- Oversee rack installation, cable harnessing, structured cable management, and data center maintenance activities including coordination for AC, UPS, and critical infrastructure components.
- Oversee inventory management, asset tracking, device registration, tagging, and technical reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2.5 years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, including strong L2 and L3 operational expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience in switching and routing along with in-depth expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing network devices.
- Proficient in deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise wireless networks based on HP Aruba solutions, including controllers, access points, SSID configuration, security policies, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience in structured cabling (Copper and Optical Fiber) projects, including design, implementation, and verification.
- Solid understanding of network security principles, access control, segmentation, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
